KAJIAN ETNOBOTANI INTARAN (AZADIRACHTA INDICA A.JUSS)

چکیده
Penelitian etnobotani intara (Azadirachta indica A. Juss.) telah dilakukan di Kabupaten Buleleng Bali. Kajian yang meliputi kajian botani, etnoekologi, etnofarmakologi, etnoantropologi, dan etnoekonomi, dengan menggunakan metode jelajah wawancara terhadap tokoh masyarakat, agama budaya, balian serta pengrajin kayu. Hasil diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa intaran lokasi penelitian umumnya berhabitus pohon, batangnya dapat mencapai 20 meter bahkan lebih, tumbuh ketinggian tempat 1-300 mdpl, pada tanah kering/tandus pH 4-6,5. Daun kulit batang digunakan sebagai obat gatal-gatal insektisida/pengendali ulat. Tumbuhan ini juga dalam sarana ritual upacara adat budaya Hindu, bahan bangunan suci makanan ternak untuk konservasi tanah.
